About Tamara
Tamara has a long history in the legal field, beginning in 1982 when she first responded to an advertisement seeking a legal secretary. Within a few years Tamara became a paralegal and obtained her certification from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Tamara worked as a paralegal for many years for small, mid-sized and large firms.

While working full time as a litigation paralegal in a family law practice, Tamara completed her undergraduate education at Whitworth University with honors. Tamara was immediately accepted admission by Gonzaga Law School where she obtained her Juris Doctorate degree in 2007.

Tamara established her practice in Spokane in January 2008 and made a conscious decision to focus on issues impacting the family. Family law cases involve a high degree of emotion and uncertainty for each client. Tamara’s first objective is to explain the legal and court process to her clients so they know what to expect each step of the way and to give the client enough information to make well-informed decisions.

In her layperson life, Tamara spends time with a variety of species including one male human, four canines and five parrots.
